Packing it all in

Seem to have forgotten I need to pack to move out as well as pack to leave. And find packing storage. And packing in friends. Eek. I thought the easy thing would be finding someone who wanted to rent out their garage. It's a recession after all. Looks like no-one in Herts needs the extra cash. Back to Google...

Placement problems = go off to Asia until a placement comes up

Two VSO placements have fallen through (purely down to bad luck I think and being a bit of a niche specialist!). Possibly one for September. Didn't want to sit around working for the summer so heading off in two weeks. China/Vietnam/Cambodia/Thailand. Can I fit in Hong Kong and Laos to make it 6 countries in 9 weeks? Hope so!
